Notre Dame reopens after 2019 fire

It is pretty hard to have missed this news since it has been everywhere for the past few days. The $900-million restoration will continue into the future, but hundreds of craftspeople have brought the cathedral to a point where it reopened to the public yesterday.

Proposed changes to NAAB requirements challenged

A number of institutions, including AIANY and NOMA, have publicly criticized the removal of a requirement intended to improve diversity and equity in architectural schools. The NAAB responded by indicating that these changes are in response to recent legal changes affecting higher education. This will undoubtedly be discussed a lot over the coming months as all parties look for a creative solution to improve diversity within the profession.
