ASHRAE
ASHRAE stands for the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers. They focus their research and advocacy efforts on heating and cooling systems, energy efficiency, and indoor air quality. ASHRAE publishes a number of important documents including their Handbook, which provides important design information. Another important document is ASHRAE Standard 90.1, which covers energy use in low-rise buildings.
ASHRAE provides a series of free resources on their website, some of which are available to everyone and some that are only available for members.
